Welfare & Culture

Cultivating Corporate Culture

Hanmi Pharmaceutical operates various childcare support systems to enable work-life balance, as follows. It supports diverse work arrangements such as maternity/paternity leave, reduced working hours during childcare leave, telecommuting, and flexible work systems. These systems help employees balance work and childcare. Furthermore, Hanmi Pharmaceutical operates an in-house daycare center to provide a safe and comfortable environment for employees' children. In addition, it fosters a culture where male employees can freely use parental leave, creating an environment where childcare responsibilities can be shared and supported regardless of gender. Recognizing these efforts, Hanmi Pharmaceutical was selected as a Family-Friendly Certified Company by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family in 2018, and maintains this certification to date.

Hanmi Pharmaceutical Work Systems

Selective Work System

A system allowing employees to freely choose their commuting hours and workdays within the statutory working hours.

Discretionary Work System

A system that deems agreed-upon hours as worked for tasks where, given the nature of the work, it is necessary to entrust
the method of task execution to the employee's discretion.

Flexible Work System

A system that allows for flexible adjustment of working hours according to workload, enabling agile response to changes in work.

Deemed Work System

A system that considers agreed-upon hours as worked when it is difficult to calculate actual working hours, such as for
work performed outside the workplace.

Hanmi Pharmaceutical implements various work systems tailored to the characteristics of each workplace and individual's life. Furthermore, an online working hour management system is operated to ensure the smooth activation of these systems. This system not only allows for real-time management of working hours but also helps employees plan their vacations in advance. Additionally, as part of the selective work system, a 'PC OFF' system is operated, which automatically shuts down the PC at the end of the working hours designated by the employee.
